Q: How much do you charge to build a website?
A: The cost of each web site is dependent on your unique project. We interview each client to understand their project requirements and then provide a written quotation that details the work to be performed, including the costs, dates for deliverables and a “go live” schedule.
Q: What payment terms and methods are accepted?
A: We require a 50% deposit at the project start and the remaining 50% is required after the final site approval (just prior to the site installation and “go live”). Payments can be made by cheque or credit cart (via Paypal).
Q: Do you work with clients who have ZERO website experience?
A: Yes, we’re actually known for our quality support. It’s our goal to provide you with the right solution for your business and one which is best matched to your abilities. Many of our clients have no previous web site experience and our background in training and support means that we will never throw geek-speak your way. We even provide unlimited technical assistance, through email, at no charge. We reply to all support emails with instructions and/or training videos. For emergency support, we can provide a time to review the problem by telephone. If the call requires more than 20 minutes, our hourly support rate may apply. We’ll discuss this with you in the call if it appears the solution requires more one-on-one support.
Q: Are there any additional costs for the web design?
A: The only costs required to run your site are the (a) web hosting costs and the (b) domain name (i.e. www.yourwebsite.com).
Q: Do you make recommendations for web hosts and domain name purchases?
A: Yes, we will advise what type of hosting package is required to support your new website. We also offer affordable web hosting plans that starting at $85 a year. and can refer you to third-party independent web hosts based on our existing client referrals and recommendations. Not all hosts are equal and because most like to lock you into a one year agreement, it’s important to pick a good one from the start.
Q: What ecommerce solutions do you recommend?
A: We help you identify ecommerce solutions that will best match your market. Some providers offer an independent ecommerce format; one in which you can move the cart to any host/provider as needed. Whereas other solutions are less flexible but may offer more powerful hooks into larger marketing vehicles. We’ll help you to explore all your choices and make the best decsion for your business.
Q: Do you accept payment installments or ‘layaway’ styled payment plans?
